About myself
ALL ABOUT ME
My name is Ally Del Rosario, 17 years old and currently living in Sta. Rosa Laguna. I would like to share my interesting stories but I'm afraid there's not much interesting events in my life.
I was born on Sept. 5,2000. I grew up in a family of five, where I was the oldest child. I lived my whole life thinking that everything is within my grasp but as I grow older, I realized that I can't always get what I want. When I was in 6th grade, I remember seeing my parents cry because I was too much of a disappointment. I remembered playing dumb in class just to get the attention and when I finally got it, I instantly regret it.
Things don't always go my way. I had to learn that the hard way. Now, to make up for those days, I try my best to achieve my dreams and make my parents proud. I want to wow them. I want to be a sister that would be a role model for my siblings. I want to stop being a disappointment and start being someone who they can actually be proud of.
With all thay negativity aside, I would like to share some of my interests and hobbies. Things I like to do in my spare time.
I always loved reading books. For as long as I can remember, books had always been my getaway. My mom would scold me because no matter how hard she tried and tell me to put the book down, I would still continue reading. I would lose sleep and miss dinner just to finish a really good book.
Although I love reading, I only read those that interests me. My favorite author is named Rick Riordan. He was the one who wrote the Percy Jackson Series, which probably had the worst movie adaptation I have ever seen (aside from Netflix's Deathnote, that is). Aside from that particulat series, he also had a few other books that I fell inlove with.
"Books were a safe place, a world apart from my own. No matter what had happened that day, that year, there was always a story in which someone overcame their darkest hour. I wasn't alone." —Kiera Cass, The Siren.
Since I took interest in reading, I also got inspired to write my own stories. Whenever I'm feeling down or if the world makes me fall to my knees, I could only turn to my writing to forget about those particular problems for a while.
Although my english grammar is not that perfect, my dream is to be a writer, just like Rick Riordan. My dream is to give my readers something that would stick with them until the end. Even when my books were long forgotten by the world, they would be the ones who would remember it.
